ALSA UK is organised into teams, with each team led by a Team Lead. Team Leads meet every two weeks as part of the Lead Team, where upcoming activities are discussed and work is coordinated to ensure alignment with ALSA UK’s mission and values.
The Lead Team is supported by the CEO (Arijeta), who oversees the day-to-day running of the organisation, and acts as the link between volunteers, the Lead Team, and the Board of Trustees.
ALSA UK is governed by a Board of Trustees, who hold legal and financial responsibility for the charity. The Trustees provide oversight, ensure good governance, and support the long-term sustainability of ALSA UK, while not being involved in day-to-day operations. The Board is chaired by Arisa, who, as Chair and Trustee, provides overall oversight of ALSA UK, supports the CEO, and ensures the charity is aligned with its mission.

ALSA UK also has an Advisory Board, made up of individuals who provide expertise, guidance, and external perspectives. The Advisory Board supports strategic thinking and development to the Trustees but does not have governance or decision-making authority.
You can search anyone within the team on Slack, but here are some people that might be important for you to know about, starting with our Marketing Department, who are responsible for our social media presence, brand identity, communications, and promoting our events and opportunities across all platforms.
