Once you have been in the content creation team for 6 months you will be given the opportunity to try out other roles within ALSA UK!
However, if one if these roles interests you, you should let Arisa know ASAP as very often we cut that 6 months short for promising volunteers who show passion and commitment.
International Team Lead Lead a team of international students passionate about supporting newly arrived international students. Guide them to create content, website material and even put together regular networking events! Must be an ALSA UK volunteer for 12 months. Message Arisa for more details.
TikTok Creator Create content for Tiktok to raise awareness of ALSA UK Open to anyone who has been an ALSA UK volunteer for at least 3 months (ideally 6 months). Message Arisa on Slack for more details
Content Creation Lead Responsible for leading and managing the content team, supporting volunteers to produce engaging content for our platforms. They chair monthly team meetings to plan and review work, provide guidance to team members, and ensure content aligns. As part of the Lead Team, they also report back on progress, share updates, and contribute to wider organisational planning. Event Promoter Create content to promote our upcoming events and reach out to external organisations to raise awareness. Open to anyone who has been an ALSA UK volunteer for at least 3 months (ideally 6 months). Message Denisa on Slack for more details
Newsletter Editor The Newsletter Editor at ALSA UK helps put together our monthly newsletter with the support of Damian, creating engaging updates to share with our community. The role involves some writing, work on Canva, and pulling together content from across ALSA uK. It’s a flexible role with a time commitment of just 1–2 hours a month. Instagram Live/Webinar Lead Organise instagram lives/webinars that are both entertaining and educational. Open to anyone who has been an active ALSA UK volunteer for at least 3 months (ideally 6 months). Message Denisa on Slack for more details
